I made a macro for opening the journal that will play the new pvp emote, and I am delighted by it every time, I am so glad it loops

Also I guess the WoL is ambidextrous? Maybe they always were? Arcanist animations show us writing with the other hand, so this is canon for Mise now 👀

I think there is a universe where Mise at her worst and most desperate (between 1.0 and ARR) could have been coaxed into becoming the Ascian Azem. If Emet had a mind to, and had got to her before Minfilia, basically, he could have won her over. She wanted to bring back what she lost.

I’d love some of the non-f!Elezen hairstyles for Mise too that are a bit closer to her general style. I’d love more ponytails or buns without a fringe…

I think she’s doing something drastic to her hair again in 8.0, ngl, because I’m running out of options >:3

There are actually hairstyles fairly close to how I draw Azem’s hair, but they’re all exclusive to other races, so while I draw her with her hair up, in game it has to be down.

There’s a Lala hairstyle that’d be perfect but Kass is not Lala-shaped at all

I really like one of the new pvp tops on Mise 👀 it’s very apt for a type of final fantasy protagonist, and most of the other tops I can think of with that vibe *are* outfits from previous protagonists

If Haurchefant can be on the moonfire artwork then Hyth/Hades seasonal artwork is not wishful thinking they can still come back

I injured my foot last week and the way I naturally sit at my desk to do things like ‘draw’ and ‘watch cutscenes in FFXIV’ currently causes pain

Not as much pain as it did a week ago but still perhaps more than I would like for a story patch day 😔

Not so much a moment (in msq), but DT’s exploration of parent/child bonds and especially the impact of loss in that dynamic, was the *perfect* theme for post-EW!Mise. That is exactly the direction I wanted to look in for her, having finally accepted her parents’ deaths in EW

I’m glad they’re making it so you can’t get a duty in progress for your first run, because there’s some dungeons where that really killed the vibe.

I missed most of StB’s final dungeon as a sprout because of that. Idk what became of Aulus in that timeline, but my WoL certainly never fought him.

They are the ultimate motivator, if they ever added ex trials to the event list then I swear I’d have those mounts in no time
