Now I do sometimes do a smaller painted study. I’ve learned to do those in good paper because they often turn out better than the final

And…I love to draw. So I’m not avoiding that part.

I mean to. I know it’s a great idea. But no, I just start with an overall idea of the contrast and such and make decisions along that line as me and the paint are both making decisions.

#WatercolorAbstract small approximately 3”x4”. The real title should be “What happens if I put a ton of water and paint on watercolor paper and let it dry in -14 degree weather”. But perhaps that would be too long. Thinking of framing this and its similar but different partner in a gold frame.
