So, Israel now seeking to evacuate hundreds of thousands from Beirut, presiumbly so they can annihilate the city, just as they did in Gaza. What will it take western governments to stand up and say stop to the illegal imperialist actions of Israel and the US?

Just heard that #RTE have made their decision and Ireland will NOT participate or broadcast #Eurovision. A brave and correct decision.

Can't agree - those countries that recognise a genocidal state when they see one are perfectly entitled not to engage in cultural whitewashing. Well done by Spain, the Netherlands and Ireland - countries that have a conscience. Proud of our national broadcaster.

Spain and the Netherlands have indicated they are out of #Eurovision, due to EBU decision to permit Israel to take part. Crucial that #Ireland/#RTE follow their lead and indicate they are not prepared to allow Israel to whitewash their genocidal actions in Gaza and the West Bank.
