I appreciate that! My best thread about them so far is probably this one, but Iβm sure Iβm due for another ramble soon, since I am finally porting them into an original setting and story this month.

Thanks. It comes and goes, so I manage it as best as I can. Fortunately, I donβt have the kind that keeps me up late, but the kind that wakes me super early, so as long as I go to bed early enough, Iβm usually okay.
I hope you get some good sleep, too!

Walker, Iβll tell you my secret: itβs insomnia.
Eliwood, on the other hand, is a powerful drafting wizard. Iβm always so impressed by her output.
I am super glad you decided to join the leaderboard! Itβs way more exciting with a bunch of people! βΊοΈ

Iβm normally not a yapper on this site (threads are my bane), but every time I think about my vampires, I have to resist the urge to ramble about them. The vampire brainrot is real, folks.

I didnβt say that, though. Iβm actually most productive when I just sit and write, usually doing back-to-back sprints. On-and-off writing is helpful when multitasking but takes me so much more time to achieve the same word count, so itβs less efficient overall.

Yes! My vampires primarily use stealth and subterfuge to feed because I want them to be more insidious, prowling predators as opposed to horror flick monsters. The more they can hide in plain sight, the better.

Great question! I'm borrowing from Vampire: the Masquerade for this, where vampire saliva has minor healing properties; it can close small wounds, including bite marks. Vampires are supposed to heal these whenever they feed on a human or make a new vampire, to preserve the lie that they don't exist.

No notable or permanent injuries on Lia and Roman, though the latter has some minor scars from wounds he sustained during [REDACTED] that healed naturally. That was before his death. Nowadays, most wounds inflicted on vampires heal during the day while they sleep, or if they drink enough blood.

WIP update: I was able to write on and off all day, so I managed 1,618 new words for my vampire novella, THIAW. This brings me to 3,664 of 10,000 total words! I also divided up what I've written so far into chapters, because the lack of breathing room was killing me. #WritingCommunity #AmWriting

BonApriltite is so cute! It might result in a few misspellings, though. It also seems like it'd be a challenge to come up with 30 different prompts (or answers to those prompts, for that matter) for a food-themed game, but if anyone can, it's you.

But after Jason spares a witness to his latest murder, he becomes the prime suspect in his own brotherβs homicide. While he hunts for the real killer, Ayana discovers an impossible illness in one of her cadavers. The couple quickly identify an unsettling connection between the two eventsβone steeped in religious fanaticism and occult conspiracy.
Jason and Ayana must learn to work together, using their wits, lies, and criminal connections to uncover the truth behind a mysterious cult and exact revenge.
