Youโre living my dream.
That's so exciting, Lizzie! I can't wait to read it!
Staying on DST would be my preference too.
That's so wholesome.
Oof, yeah, I wouldn't want unsolicited comments on that topic either. You could always limit comments and turn off quote reposts, at least.
I prefer setting my stories on Earth and making fictional cities/towns based on real ones (or an amalgamation of multiple real ones).
Thank you!
Agreed!
Sleepover??? Come on over!
*coughs, shuffles papers awkwardly*

Ahhhh THE DEVOURING got its first ARC review on Goodreads already and Iโm soโฆ ๐ญ๐ฅบ This feeling is indescribable. Thanks so much for reading, @percivale-anthony.bsky.social, and for your kind words!!! And wow, you read it so quickly!
Happy birthday, sweet girl! Please give her all the pets and kisses from me.
Iโm so glad! Thank you for reading!
All the small bits of humor in THE DEVOURING was received exactly as intended, which is necessary for balancing out the horror and dread in the majority of the book. That said, all the horror and dread came off as intended for many readers, too, so I'm pretty happy with it overall.
Youโve got this, Paisley!
We love a wifeguy! ๐
WIP update: I scrapped the 500 words from yesterday and wrote 880 words in their place. The chapter is progressing much better now, especially juxtaposed with the one before it. Total word count is 12,689 (original goal: 10,000). #WritingCommunity #AmWriting
OH SHIT???
She's a lost cause at this point, Charlie. The blinders are on and staying on.
The good news is, they really are in love!
This is the best feeling!!
Oof, I'm so sorry.
Lia is a daydreaming expert. She makes shit up all the time according to whatever she wants to believe. What do you mean she's a tragic victim still caught in her stalker/literal murderer/emotional manipulator's clutches? Don't you know they're in love???
Hell yeah! Canโt wait for the reveal! Itโs awesome that your husband can help you with this part of the process, too. Covers can be so expensive and such a huge undertaking.
No thanks! I have my own critique partners and beta readers.
Thatโs true, people always wholeheartedly support womenโs wrongs. ๐
Ayana is most peopleโs favorite character, which is a pleasant surprise because sheโs not a great person and was also the toughest character in THE DEVOURING to write.
Good question. For this novella? I have no idea. ๐
GIVE ME ASH!!!
Have fun spending time with her!
