This is a mistake Toronto will regret for decades. The Eglinton Crosstown LRT could've and should've been a fully grade separated light metro.

Details of the development aren't available yet, but public consultation will take place this Fall. We welcome this shift in the TOC program, where Infrastructure Ontario is taking a more active approach to developing GO's parking lot, rather than just developing sites acquired for construction 2/2

Wayfinding is on the agenda at the next TTC Board meeting! Transit riders have long found signage on public transit inadequate and inaccessible. If it passes this strategy is a step toward clearer, more inclusive navigation.

A 30 day revenue service demonstration for the Eglinton Crosstown LRT may begin this week, according to the Metrolinx CEO. This is the last step before the line is ready to be open. If all goes well we could see the line up and running in November.

Did you know that ION Stage One only had a 1.2% contingency ($10 million)? On ION Stage 2, contingency and cost escalation make up nearly 40% of the $4.3 billion price tag. Research has shown that high contingency and cost escalation are leading drivers of our insanely high construction costs

Thrilled to see the TTC recommend fare capping as part of the Ridership Growth Strategy, something that we have long called for as a common-sense solution to making transit more affordable!

This would replace an expensive monthly pass, that you need to pay for upfront on the same day as your rent.

King Street: Toronto's Transit Inferiority Corridor | UrbanToronto Long planned upgrades to Toronto's busiest streetcar line have gone off the rails once more, with anticipated improvements to the 504 King's Transit Priority Corridor notably absent from the recently rebuilt intersection of King and Church streets, and indicative of a failure to truly prioritize the street for moving people.

Excellent article today in UrbanToronto regarding the King Street priority corridor. After 7 years of transit priority, the street remains unchanged, with no timeline for when improvements are coming. This is low hanging fruit and the city is failing big time. urbantoronto.ca/news/2025/08...
