[ Simon pulls herself & Miles down to where they're both flat on the floor, with Simon using their coat to cover both of them just in case any debris falls. Once the elevator drops several floors and completely stops, Simon takes her coat and stands up, looking around the enclosed space. ] +

[ She wastes no time grabbing Miles, pressing the button, and rushing both of them inside. When the culprit notices, he immediately fires the rounds inside the gun, which Simon takes herself and Miles to the side and smashes the elevator controls when the door is closed enough. ] +

[ Simon cautiously puts her sword away, making the fake bailiff smirk as he continued to point the gun towards the two. ]

"Sorry about this boss..."

[ Simon whispers before tossing a small rock far away enough for the culprit to look away and inspect what the noise was. ] +

[ Simon actually had a plan of her own; the fake bailiff made the stupid mistake of holding them hostage behind an elevator, so of she could distract the bastard for one second, they could get them out of this situation. ]

[ Miles wasn't going to like this though. ] +

[ Simon and Miles had witnessed this and he noticed them, which lead to the predicament they were in now. ]

**"If you two value your lives, you'll stay right where you are!"

[ The fake growled, which caused Simon to roll her eyes. What a pathetic attempt at a threat. ] +

[ Acording to him, the Defense & Prosecutor were really close to discovering the witness had actually committed the crime, and when he couldn't give everyone the slip anymore, he caused a distraction & darted out, knocking out a bailiff and disguising himself until he could actually escape. ] +

[ They got in front of their boss to protect him in case this 'bailiff' decided to shoot; they didn't want him hurt. Besides, this wasnt Simon's first rodeo with someone in a costume. ]

[ The fake bailiff was actually a witness/actual killer that was testifying in courtroom 4. ] +

[ Simon wasn't how this all unfolded; one moment she was taking some files to one of their fellow coworkers with Miles, and the next thing she knew, the whole building was on lock down and she was currently face to face and gun to katana with a fake bailiff. ] +

"...Plus you didn't ask for those bastards to come here; they never do give up do they?"

"Hey, I've been through worse..."

[ This was of course a lie, but as much as Simon hated lying to Nahyuta, she wasnt going to make them worry even more than they already were. ]

"...Besides, you know I would go through hell and back for you." +

[ Simon nods and shakes their head to snap out of the light-headedness. She keeps their eyes wide open and looks at her fiance with worry yet love at the same time. ]

"...I can feel you trembling Butterfly; I'll be okay. You're doing great so far..."

"In the meantime, don't take the Katana out; cant risk me bleeding out faster, heh...."

"They ran off before they could deliver a final blow luckily. Maybe they didnt expect me to fight back..."

[ Simon gave a chuckle before looking at the katana in her arm.]

"I'll be fine; I just need help as soon as possible." +

[ A groan escapes Simon's lips as they look over at Nahyuta, giving her fiance a small smile. Fortunately Simon was a hell of a fighter, so despite their injuries and circumstances, she remained strong. ]

"Ye-Yeah...I-I was swarmed by Gar'an supporters. Must have followed you to the states..." +

[ They had to keep the Katana in their arm and secure it as possible so that they wouldn't risk bleeding out faster and further damaging any other organs. ]

[ Simon was struggling to move from their spot, and they were really struggling to call 911 for help. They decided their best course of action was to text an SOS to Nahyuta, and they would explain the details later. Until then? ] +

[ The attackers had muttered something before leaving the scene of the crime, leaving Simon with their own katana plunged in their arm, potential broken ribs, and lots of various cuts and bruises. ] +

[ They also didnt predict Simon fighting back against them; However Simon herself was pretty outnumbered, and one of the bastards managed to swipe their katana away from them and plunge it in their arm. ]

[ Honestly? It was a miracle Simon wasn't dead after the attack. ] +

[ Sneaky bastards; they knew to go after someone Nahyuta was close to rather than the royal themselves, unfortunately for them, they weren't bright enough to predict the hell they would face once Nahyuta caught wind of this. ] +

[ It was nessesary for their time in prison of course, but old habits really do die hard. ]

[ Simon Blackquill was sharp, however the people thar surrounded them were just as sharp, if not sharper. Especially if the people in question were Gar'an worshippers hellbent on revenge. ] +

I went to visit Prosecutor Sahdmadhi to give them some evidence for the case they're working on and then ended up there for 2 hours because the goat they had demanded play time.
