I've served in the Illinois Army National Guard for over 12 years, including a deployment to Afghanistan and three years on active duty in Europe.
What's going on right now is not normal.

Why do you INSIST on assuring a small crowd by refusing to coordinate with local organizations who could really get people out?

We get a week's notice of "something" with no time or place? A few buses from Chicago maybe 100 locals?

We could easily get 6 times that number. Maybe ten times.

Springfield illinois would've had at the very least 10x the number if the organizers of this had simply reached out to community, or even just responded to queries. I am glad it came off as well as it did. I hope it's repeated in concert with organizations that can turn people out in large numbers

Who are the Illinois organizers? How can Springfield groups get in touch?

Not one of at least a dozen lefty-prog groups in Springfield Illinois was contacted about this.NO ONE FROM THIS 50501 ORGANIZATION REACHED OUT TO ANYONE here. Just show up and what, get gassed?

Yeah the revolution is set fot 10 so there's a conflict. Jesus what terrible organizing. "Just show up. What could go wrong?" Answer: plenty.

There's nobody to contact. There's no one who has reached out to organized allies in Springfield. No one knows a goddamned thing.
