Senate Democrats plot strategy as DHS standoff deepens heading into shutdown week Two sources who were on a Democratic caucus strategy call Sunday said Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told the group the message must be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Majority of the country now wants to abolish and/or dismantle ICE and yet Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y. told the caucus the message had to be to “restrain, reform and restrict ICE.”

Once again it looks like Schumer is about to choke after getting a massive opportunity.

One person in critical condition after being shot in incident involving Border Patrol in Arizona The individual is in custody and receiving care, according to law enforcement.

This shooting comes just three days after Border Patrol fatally shot Alex Pretti in Minneapolis and a couple of weeks after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer shot and killed Renee Good.

The individual, who has not been identified, was shot in southern Pima County near milepost 15 of West Arivaca Road at around 7:30 a.m., according to a news release from the Santa Rita Fire District.

Needless to say that Renee Good and Alex Pretti will go down as heroes here in Minnesota and nationally, their names synonymous with sacrifice and caring for vulnerable neighbors even at the risk of your own life. And hopefully no more innocent lives are lost.

ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.

We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.

Even though there's currently single digit weather in parts of Texas, ICE refuses to turn on the heat in the Alvarado Texas facility. We've watched in years past when the lack of heat has killed residents of Texas who are without power, We have to demand that ICE turn on the heat in this facility!
