The National Cancer Institute (part of NIH) released new guidelines for "controversial, high-profile or sensitive" keywords that require "review prior to publication" if included in a product or materials.
Keywords include abortion, obesity, and peanut allergies.
A thing that most Americans never really pay attention to, but now that there's tariffs I'll share: the personal exemption limits. Please note the great footnote to the alcohol limits: "if this is a matter of utmost importance to you, you can check with the state Alcohol Beverage Control Board"

if you’re a grant-supported researcher* and your grant funding is “paused” there’s a good chance you’re out of a job and have to switch gears in various ways and a lot of people will be committed to other work even if that “paused” resumes however long from now…
