It boggles the mind that some people go to a gig and then chat all the way through it and seemingly pay no attention to the music.

I would really like to get a cup of coffee but I have a cat fast asleep on my lap. I know my place in the hierarchy so I will stay put, and thirsty, until his highness deigns to allow me to move.

Going through the bag of stuff I took out of my old car earlier this week I found the locking wheel nut key for it. Whoops, guess I'd better take that over to the VW dealer tomorrow!

Ah, there's nothing like a pre-8am P1 to get the working week off to a shitty start.

Whilst searching for an email I found the email we sent to our parents (and us) whilst we were in North Korea in 2017. A look at the headers shows that the email originated from 175.45.178.55 which shows on the APNIC WHOIS (wq.apnic.net//static/sear...) as being a subnet registered in DPRK.

Note to self - when changing the water filter on the fridge it’s prudent to turn off the incoming mains pressure water supply before disconnecting any of the pipes.

I don’t like to stereotype (apart from for you, Estate Agents), but when you see someone with a St. George’s flag as their profile picture you can reliably predict what their opinions are going to be.

I think I’ll need to obtain more books whilst I’m out here. I’ve been here 2 days and had read 2.5 books. The sign of a fantastic and much needed break.

I wish all retailers were as easy to deal with as the good folks at @burningshed.com. Despite them having, I assume, a huge number of Steven Wilson pre-orders to process and ship they didn’t grumble when I asked them to delay my shipment a few days. Thanks guys!
