18.02.2026 06:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I would love to see more skating commentary from Ashley Wagner, I feel like hearing more from someone who came up in the current scoring system with less affection for Russian style skating would do wonders for improving on some of the issues with Weir and Lipinski.
18.02.2026 06:05 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Why do they hate kimchi?!
18.02.2026 03:06 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve always fed my cats high quality foodβso theyβve always had good coats. But I swear with the new fancier food Iβve needed to switch them to, Beatrice is as bunny soft as Ramona now.
17.02.2026 06:16 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The men may do the impressive athletic jumps, but pairs skating seems like it must be a huge magnitude of difficulty harder.
You see it in the teams that are clearly fighting to nail their elements, and even more so when teams like Miura Riku and Kihara Ryuichi just take it to a whole new level.
A yellow-green eyed calico tabby with large tufted ears, a white bib and front leg stands up to put her right paw on the arm of an office chair and look up expectantly.
Ramona doesnβt believe me when I tell her I donβt get paid to chase her around the apartment.

16.02.2026 22:03 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0William Blakeβs illustration for βThe Tygerβ has what appears to be a dippy grin for some reason.
The wonderful thing about Tyggers
Is Tyggers are burning bright
Their tops are made out of rubber
In the forest of the night
What bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
Immortal hand or eye
Did frame the most wonderful thing about Tyggers,
Their fearful symmetry!
Sometimes the ice dancing choreo is very aggressive.
16.02.2026 04:25 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I'm going to promote the heck out of this:
The Minneapolis Foundation has $4 million in grants available to small businesses for everything from rent and payroll costs to legal help and temporary relocation.
More details and the application here: www.minneapolisfoundation.org/stories/comm...
We need to demand a curling version of Heated Rivalry. Iβd even settle for a remake of βMen with Broomsβ.
16.02.2026 03:05 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. Itβs always a matter of will not resources.

true love will find you in the end
this is a promise with a catch
only if you're looking can it find you
'cause true love is searching too

My favorite photos from the Olympics are of this Italian figure skater Daniel Grassl. He looks absolutely insane in so many of them. It's great.

15.02.2026 02:33 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0As someone who has been taking a GLP-1 for years, the current conversation is so depressingβthe assumption that all fat people long to be thin.
GLP-1s havenβt made me thin, so Iβm still a βfailureβ with regard to health.
Nevermind everything they canβt see.
And all the folks itβs not right for.
And that service hours have never gotten back to the Seattle funded frequency we had in 2019 definitely contributed to my decision to buy a car last year after nearly 20 years without one.
I donβt have answers, Iβm not a transit expert, just a transit user who has always wished for better service.
I have so many mixed feeling about this. Most personalβthe 10 is βmy busβ and has been for decades. I work downtown, and itβs current configuration is generally better for me on neighborhood connections, but it makes the light rail less convenientβespecially as my mobility decreases with age.
14.02.2026 20:22 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I wish I were still surprised by the people who watch Star Trek who fundamentally donβt understand Star Trek. I dread what Skydance era Trek might look like.

In 1854, after watching the federal government deploy 2000 federal troops and spend $40,000 sending Anthony Burns back into slavery, Boston's Amos Adams Lawrence said βwe went to bed one night old-fashioned, conservative, Compromise Union Whigs and waked up stark mad Abolitionists.β
