The first week of this Israeli intensification has a severe increase in military activity compared to 2024, according to data tracked by ACLED. They've tracked around 400 airstrikes and 443 'military events', an 100 percent increase from 2024.

I see that as a really vital part of not just being critical of AI but also understanding how those around me are going to be making catastrophic mistakes in their work and how I need to check and correct it, to protect my own work

Identity of Nepali killed in Dubai drone incident ascertained According to the Nepalese Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the identity of the deceased has been revealed as Dibash Shrestha, aged 29, of Gorkha.

We now know the identity of the Nepalese national who was killed as a result of the Iranian attacks on the UAE.

Dibash Shrestha, aged 29, was as a security guard at the airport employed by the Middle East Company. Shrestha died while trying to diffuse the drone.

What a tragedy.

but this is also our home. I've said it before, I am not a war journalist. I just cover the place I live and care about. I don't mind others covering it, I encourage it! Just please give it and the people proper care. Question narratives especially those from power.

I hate how many journalists descend on Beirut when there is war. Yes, it needs covering and some people know the city and do it really well.

But still, many come in and repeat problematic western-centric narratives. I understand this is the type of reporting that makes careers and pays bills
