we all want to deliver good news and see the beauty in things. sometimes that can inspire someone already in a tough time. but sometimes that's not what's being asked of you.

and most importantly: be honest with your clients. Don't fearmonger them or make them feel hopeless, but be clear: "this is going to be a tough time. here's where your resources are. here's when it might ease up"

I was laid off in 2017 too but I had more cushion bc i was living with my parents still. Now I'm a solo homeowner. So. much less runway. lot more fear. ಠ_ಠ
