Don’t know who needs to hear this but stop quitting your job to do artist alley and conventions, there are no benefits or health insurance and it is so unpredictable and the competition is worse than trying to get into Harvard lol

i dont have any sage advice to offer bc I'm still new to all this but. um. i can assure you that your job pays you more than im getting paid 😁

you really have to be everything as an aa/merch artist. your own accountant, manager, artist, graphic designer, social media expert, video editor, photographer, model...

I've only been doing this about a year and i wish that i could just... physically be able to work a normal job sometimes...

one of my selling points for shows/markets is handmade goods as well so like 🫠 not a moment of rest, ever

even just the sheer relief i got by ordering stickers for the first time instead of cutting them myself is um. lol
