The rule of law means that civilians who commit crimes are prosecuted in courts of law with benefit of due process. Extrajudicial executions in international waters are an affront to our Constitution and the law of nations. It isn’t national defense. It’s murder.

Again, “murder” is the word people should be using. These were unjustified killings of human beings. Acting in defense of third parties is a potential justification, but the harm has to be imminent. Here it obviously was not. And murder in international waters is still murder. So, “murder.”

Same guy who declared bankruptcy 6 times shut down the U.S. government 4 times in 5 years of being President. They wanted him to run the government like his businesses and that’s exactly what he’s doing.
