I can't get one element of my UI the way I want it (related to visibility of cooldowns). I've only found one addon that can do what I want, and it conflicts with other addons I have and like better for what they can do.
I am no longer in my happy place... and I miss WeakAuras. ☹️
Spent the evening in my happy place - rebuilding my UI in WoW 😊 It’s not a perfect replacement for what I had, but I also don’t hate it as much as I thought I would!
Dear Blizzard,
Could you please fix it so I sit ON the sofa instead of IN the sofa? (Same issue with chairs.)
Thank you for your attention to this serious, game-breaking issue.
For the Alliance!
Miggi
Thank you! ☺️
Super happy with how my bedroom is turning out – it’s simple but I think it reflects my character (going Night Elf Druid for Midnight).
Visited my Garrison to buy some housing decor and (once again) had to explain to Varian why he is still there and why he is never, ever leaving...
Had a great Alterac Valley tonight that lasted like 45 minutes and we won on reinforcements. Still my favorite battleground in WoW!
Tell me you don't give a single shit about every woman who works in the industry without telling me you don't give a single shit about EVERY woman in the industry.
Sometimes, when I'm waiting for a queue to pop, I change into Druid's Flight form and fly way up. Then I turn into Bear form and plummet to earth, and see if I can get really close to the ground and turn back into flight form without dying...
Added a lawn flamingo and a dog house!
There are other things, like having the choice for tracked buff bars to grow upwards instead of just appearing, and being able to show my personal buffs/debuffs as bars instead of icons. But I'm hopeful those things will come in the future.
For the first time I actually feel optimistic about this!
What's left on my personal UI wish list?
Audio alerts when:
- I'm targeted
- I gain aggro
- a tracked buff is applied or expired.
Ability to color enemy nameplates (eg casters have pink bars).
Buff/debuff filtering - on raid frames, but also on your personal buff/debuff panels.
Added a new Bleed dispel indicator (similar to poison, magic, etc) to raid frames.
Full notes are here! (You'll need to scroll past the tons of class changes to get to the UI changes.)

Some great UI changes in today's Midnight Beta patch notes!
Major defensive buffs will show as a large icon on the center of raid frames.
Audio alerts can announce player & target spellcasts, when the player’s target starts casting an interruptible spell, & when the player’s target is interrupted.
New home: Plot 24, Founder's Point!
Cooking with Style is indeed in the house! Before she goes to the house though, she's at the fountain -- and that's where she's supposed to give the quests that precede it. But they're timegated, and some people have posted that they never popped at all. 🙁
My cat flew from Australia to California in cargo & he made it just fine. And he was 17 at the time! In the US I've used a pet transport agency to drive my two cats, because I couldn't handle them both on my own. I think it was ultimately less stressful for them. They've done CA to MD to CA to WA.
It's been over 24 hours since my Druid completed the prerequisites for the quest that gives you the Beledar's Bounty recipe. I cannot be held responsible for the safety of Auralia Steelstrike if it doesn't pop tomorrow...
But I feel like that drove addon users underground and didn’t have the positive impact on accessibility that WoW’s approach has had.
It’s not an easy problem to solve by any means.
Really good points! Square’s position was more of a “turn a blind eye until you talk about them” kind of thing (at least when I played) - I don’t think they break them per se and historically mostly actioned on people who made it known in-game that they were using them.
Some players use addons to make things easier.
Other players use addons to make things possible.
One can argue that addons make WoW less approachable & give players an unfair advantage.
One can also argue that addons make WoW more accessible & help level the playing field, particularly for players who have visual, physical, or cognitive challenges.
For the first time in my life, I genuinely believe MMORPGs are dying. And that makes me incredibly sad.
They’re like the Tab of video games.
Fuck the man.

Totally agree. Right now I’m not planning on healing in Midnight. I’m going Balance Druid and if the raid/ party frames work for me, I’ll either go Resto or level my priest.
But the default frames have a long way to go IMO. Healing is stressful enough now with the tools and information we have.
What does it matter if someone with a ticking dot has a dotted border on their raid frame?
What does it matter if a sound plays when my tank in M+ has used a defensive?
Making it harder for people to perceive things if they need help perceiving them isn't making the game more accessible IMO.
:(
He's going to be ok this time, isn't he...
He's going to make it this time, right?
RIGHT???????
