Crane parkrun including the old gunpowder works shot tower. They dropped molten lead from the top, it formed into droplets as it fell into cold water, creating lead-shot.
Also makes me wonder if the DMP episodes, by dint of not being for sale, were easy to sneak out!
I saw on a FB thread: 2 episodes of The Daleks, 1 of The Web Planet, 1 of The Chase
Of the 12 recovered episodes that didn’t come from overseas TV station it’s interesting 8 are Dalek or Cybermen eps. Gives me hope for more DMP or (the holy grail) Power
I lost my job after confronting Little Titch on the Orange Free State
I want it all back. Except the other 2 Ice Warriors. Those are a sacrifice I’m happy to make.
Obviously Priest of Death is Massacre 3. I have handed myself over to Catherine de Medici for punishment
So my list of “most wanted” Dr Who episode returns is
1. The Traitors (DMP4)
2. Destruction of Time (DMP 12)
2. Priest of Death (Massacre 2) - need to see the Abbot!
3. Power of the Daleks 1-6
4. Evil of the Daleks 7
Maybe Space Pirates 5 or 6 (so few visuals from back half of story)
I’d genuinely love The Traitors because (1) it’s absolutely awesome and (2) completes the Bret Vyon story / introduces Sara
Eps 1-4 -Bret Vyon, Space Bond
Eps 5-10 - The Chase .2
Eps 11-12 - showdown on Kembel
Today’s mood…
Yes obviously I still desperately want episode 4 (a stunner) and 12 but having 1-3, the extended episode 4 clip and episode 5 will make DMP a different experience.
And there’s no other Dr Who story where they could have got 5 episodes and still have most of it missing!
With the recovery of the 1st and 3rd episodes of Daleks’ Master Plan…
• We have Nick Courtney’s first Dr Who
• We have the entire opening quarter of the story, covering the theft of the Taranium Core before it goes into the extended chase section
• We have most of Katarina’s episodes…
There will always be 95 missing Dr Who episodes.
