At the end of the day doesn’t matter if we like/admire folks they decide to test out full blown authoritarian violations of the constitution on. It matters that we fight for everyone to be protected by the constitution. Solidarity is not the same as fandom or friendship, solidarity is what wins.

You make fair points, but I actually do think that there's some value for California to continue to be part of the union. Mainly the military protection afforded to us, but also it allows us to put our products into more markets. But what I was trying to say is that the US gov would never let us go.
