All offsides should be fully automated and use a light to announce it immediately as it happens. In conjunction offsides only occurs when attacking player is fully behind last defender. Since offense has large advantage they should complain less if automation is off by a toe.

The Romero signing is great business for Spurs and hopefully a sign of things to come. It is better to sign your best players to more lucrative long term deals than pay transfer fees to replace them when they leave. Maybe we’re turning a corner… #COYS

You were indeed correct on this one. Romero is a good choice, especially if you want to try and convince him to stay long term. He’s a serial winner and a top defender.

Not unheard of to name a club captain that isn’t a regular starter and another player is the field captain when the club captain isn’t out there. I could see Davis as club captain and Romero or Vicario as field captain. I’d love to Deki in leadership group but injury may dampen that prospects

Unpopular opinion with some, but I think the reason Ben Davis keeps doing press conference interviews is not just because they want to ask him about Son but because Frank is going to name him captain. 2nd prediction, he will manage Wales national team within next 10 years. #COYS

Not sure I’ve felt more loved as a Spurs fan than from Son’s fair well video and letter. I assumed his celebration was a camera view but I never thought of it as a picture frame. Him capturing our joy in his picture of the moment. Apt, that in our view of the frame we always see, just Sonny. ❤️ #COYS

I like to move to Scotland, a physical league that should be good for his development. Not sure I trust Rangers not to make a muck of it. Would have preferred Aberdeen or one of the Edinburgh teams where he has better chance of starting week in and week out.

Even if we sign the back up plan in the next few days, by the time contracts and medicals are sorted they’ll have missed 3 possible weeks training with coaches and teammates. As well as pretty much all the preseason friendlies. The value which can’t be entirely discounted.

As much as I would have liked MGW through the door. The biggest loss might be the two weeks wasted pursuing this deal. Are there other options we may have missed by thinking we had that position sorted or because we assumed we had 60 million less to work with.

I still rate Davies as a defender. Intelligent, positionally sound, can lead a line, calm on the ball, decent at picking out a pass. Lacks pace to be like for like for VDV/Udogie, but if you are going to hire a tactically flexible manager, you need different types of players for different tactics.
