Day 7/20

On this, are you steam drying the potatoes after draining? I ignored that advice for years but it actually makes a difference. I just throw the potatoes back in the pot on medium-low heat for a few minutes before adding the cream etc. and mashing. (And omg pierogies - GREAT idea - recipe??)

I bought mine years ago so I don't have a rec. I stored mine in a utensil drawer for a long time and I can't tell you how many times the drawer got stuck or I'd have to take the ricer out to find something. It's just so bulky. I'd try to find a smaller one if possible or plan to store in a pantry!

Only if you have extra kitchen space. I only use it to make certain recipes like gnocchi or Robuchon mashed (so once a year). Supposedly you can use it to squeeze water out of spinach and to mash bananas and avocados though.

I highly recommend Our Little Secret (with LiLo) on Netflix - it was great! I also rewatched EXmas from last year's Amazon Prime lineup and still loved it.
