Adnan Hussain's stance is that if he's not allowed to create homophobic pressure groups it somehow violates his identity as a Muslim. He is not someone we on the left should work with. Homophobic bigotry hiding behind religion is no more legitimate than atheist bigotry.

So it sounds like we're not getting LGBTQ rights platformed by this new party. A left wing party that doesn't advocate for the rights of all people in our communities is just a slightly friendlier version of reform.
