When he tries to run for a third term, I bet Trump will use the SCOTUS ruling in Trump v. Anderson to say that states can't bar him from the ballot under the 22nd amendment, either.

Legally they may have to, but I resent journalists referring to Jan 6th as a "riot". It may be technically accurate but I find it insufficient at best and misleading at worst.
"Riot" suggests spontaneity and chaos, while for many it was planned and very objective-oriented.
