I use to work at a shop and the pros used glue traps and that put me off ever using those. We're in a bit of a mouse plague here, everyone seems to be complaining about them. They just have a lot of tenacity.

I got one... Sorry if anyone likes small cute mice. I don't like them in the roof. Amazingly I got one a few minutes after my last whine. Trap has been reset and we'll see what happens.

I'm with you. I don't want to see a mirror of what is on my ref-sheet. The ref sheet shows an idea, maybe one or two specific details which identifies my character, but the interpretation is up to the artist. Some things I deliberately like to keep vague (hair for example) to see what happens.

Shhh... They don't want to rush into this new technology stuff over there. He'll get excited enough when he finds out he doesn't need to shovel coal on his train.

Usually its the choice of the people doing the work. Landlord calls up and says, "I have problem". Workers go: "I will fix". If its raining, that a big chunk of the day where they don't get paid. In my experience workers don't mind the rain, if they have the right gear.

They need the same experience of having to download a 240x320 pixel image over dialup, then watch it on a CGA monitor. That will put them off it.

This sounds incredibly familiar. Most of the folks who I could call the "active" furs, by now have settled down, not quite disappeared, but are more almost watching from the shadows.

I am always amused that a band remixed the ABC (Australia) news theme into a dance track. www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iys... The footage of it being played at clubs and things makes me want to go out, but I'd probably complain about the noise after 10 minutes.
