That's not good. Video reportedly showing a Ukrainian mortar position with a bunch of bad rounds
This appears to be pretty standardized at this point. For a while now we've seen Russian soldiers with shotguns accompanying air defense assets when they move out of their covered position. This is done to protect against the small Ukrainian FPV drones.
Russia has been laying the groundwork for a fake invasion of Belarus by NATO saying that would justify a nuclear response.

"Operatives in Belarus have received reliable information about the planning of an invasion from different sides and into Comrade Lukashenko's land, which now, again according to the new "Nuclear Doctrine", falls under the conditions of the beginning of Armageddon on our side."

My man Chris Cappy is showing up on Russian milblogger Telegram channels during his recent trip to Ukraine. Here's one from milinfolive
Two things to keep an eye on if this plan gains traction. First are 'buffer zones' that Russia may push for along the border between the two countries. Second are restrictions on the Ukrainian military following a peace deal. 3/
Putin's proposed plan would see them keep all occupied territories of Ukraine (to possibly include portions of Kharkiv) and Ukraine would not join NATO. 2/
Stories circulating today that Putin is open to negotiations if they're led by Trump. From what I've seen so far, these are the same demands Russia has made for some time with one exception; nothing has been made public about the future size or capabilities of the Ukrainian military. 1/
It happened again. Russian soldiers executed Ukrainian POWs on camera. They're not trying to hide this, they're celebrating it on Telegram. This is Putin's Russia, this is who Ukraine is fighting.
Appreciate that!

"Therefore, it is not a question of allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons or not. It is a question of making a decision about whether NATO countries are directly involved in a military conflict or not" 6/
Putin: "The Ukrainian army is not capable of striking with modern high-precision long-range systems of Western manufacture." 5/
Putin's escalation threat is based on a made up version of the war. Then again, this is how they've escalated in every case so far. Made something up then acted on it. 4/
If that were the case, totally understandable. There are rumors (likely true to a degree) of intel sharing, but nothing outside of low quality Russian propaganda, to back up NATO troops on the ground manning and firing these systems. 3/
His claim is that this represents NATOs joining the war because NATO troops will be firing on Russian targets in Russia. NATO joining the war directly will be met with 'appropriate decisions'. 2/
Putin's threats about escalation aren't about US weapons striking in Russia.
In past statements he has made the claim that advanced western weapons cannot be operated by Ukrainians, therefore the entire process is done by NATO soldiers from target identification to launch. 1/
Hearing more and more about a group of Ukrainian soldiers possibly trapped in this segment of the Kursk front. Worth keeping an eye on
