This is why I think me staying off here is probably permanent, there's plenty of other places that are easier to curate. This sucks because I do have several people here I miss, but that doesn't outweigh the negatives, and I've got to look out for me.

Been away from here a few days because idk, it's hard to want to spend time somewhere when you can't use it the way you want to without crap you've repeatedly said you don't want. I miss my people but I think I'm going to continue staying elsewhere for a bit.

Diabetic kitty was still high. They finally asked why I didn't get the wearable and I wish they'd done that sooner because she thinks the small town pharmacy near them is cheaper. I'm to get back to them once I check. I hope it is because she clearly needs a higher dose now but I need peace of mind.

I have a penguin version of one of these. It's been in my possession at least 6 years now and I still can't help but think of how fucked up it is to just toss it in the microwave every time I use it. Well I don't just toss him, I usually put him in a dabbing position to convince myself he enjoys it😅

I'm glad traffic has slowed to a crawl. We get about two hours between rounds of blasts, that can't be easy for students to work through. I'm glad I'm leaving early to take diabetic kitty for another recheck, it's getting old. I've got about 6 strobes in my line of sight plus glass, brain is fizzy😵‍💫

The alarm would go off again when I get a student in the lab whose prof didn't send info so they're not only testing but on a webcam🙃 Oh and the guy left the room so it's just blasting away😒 Going to let the student know our emails in case she needs proof she wasn't "cheating" or whatever:P

I hope our traffic is low today. It's so warm in here that I can't keep my mask on, the humidity is just too much. Plus more bodies will just make it warmer in here, we've already gained a degree since I got here. Looks like the sun is peeking out from the fog, this afternoon should be Interesting.

I wondered why when certain folks would walk by they'd stop since I can't hear the beeping anymore. Turns out one of the guys is sitting in the dark in the control room. I...okay lol😅

Also our printer decided to join in on the fun, one of our inks is out:P At least that's easier than last time.

Yay our fire alarm sensor broke again🙃 That means work has no AC and I get to hear beeping...oh and the alarm went off again. Sounds like they're at least on the box to keep the blaring down, but all the strobes are going crazy. Should be a fun day. At least I won't freeze I guess😅

Today in pet adventures: An afternoon storm drove the dog insane, which sent the cats into hiding until dinner, which went surprisingly well aside from more pup drama. Not a bad day tbh😅 Storms are done now so it's time to clean up after everyone and get more allergy meds on board. I'm still stuffy🙃

I love my dog but I am so stuffy since our appointment. She spent the bulk of our long wait curled up near my face, my mask was useless lol. We looked cute but I'm really feeling it. Alpha-gal is so mean, I never thought I'd be allergic to my pets.

Recheck day. Dog is still on track. He extended her meds another week but doesn't need to see her back for a bit.

Diabetic kitty was the same. We're upping her insulin for one of her daily doses and rechecking Monday. He likes her body condition but her sugar can't stay that high.

Haven't had anyone since this so I guess I am freezing for nothing😅 My face is so cold it feels numb in places, which makes my brain think I'm reacting, which spikes my anxiety, which makes these remaining minutes feel like an eternity. Can't wait to go home.

I hope you have a lovely vacation and visit💜 Does your cat like having visitors? Mine have always been a mixed bag, some would disappear for the duration and others we'd have to pry off the guests so they'd feel more comfortable😅

Lucky, I know way too many people who worship them like it's still the 60s. At least I figured out it was something about how that era sounds to me more than the band itself, but there are still several songs of their I hope to never hear again.

Looks like my house when I'm a little late getting home😅 That's the one time of day they'll team up together and put me in my place, usually the dog is too busy being overly loyal.

Today I'm using my "look busy but my brain is melting" skills, there is no one here. Sounds like there's several departments closed for meetings, plus there's some kind of training drill? Wish they'd told us that before I wore my sock puppet with a knife pin😅 But that's elsewhere, my hall is empty.

I'm usually the one waking them up😂 I don't think they minded too much, storms are pretty typical this time of year. It's crazy so many of us got them yesterday though, normally we get those "It rained across the street and in the backyard but not the front" kind of storms😅

I made it through the heat and the storms that came after. I hope your parts of Georgia were alright, it got really loud at my house last night, I haven't seen that much lightning in a long time. My dog was not happy about it. Don't know about the cats, they always look grumpy when I ask questions😅

Someone needs to, I'd love to rewatch them now that I'm old enough to really get it. I think I only saw this show in classrooms as a young kid, and it was a rare treat in an era where Bill Nye was king (and he is, my area just overshowed him).

I played a lot of Mario Party 64 back in the day, but my favorite was a toss-up between a Powerpuff Girls game and one I can't remember the name of where you played as various cats trying to defend yourself against angry rats. Don't remember if I ever beat it, but it was a ton of fun.

Need to do my yearly employee evaluation packet today and um can I get another day😅 It was due yesterday but the roof fumes made me too sleepy, and today I'm wonky from the storms keeping me up. I'll get it done, just going to be a slog. Feels awkward af mostly:P

Took forever for the booms to die down. The dog kept wanting to bark at them by that point🙃 I eventually got back to sleep, now to see if it blew anything down. Our trees have really been through it this year.

I guess we are going to get storms🫠 I hope the line behaves, I'm not used to storms from the east. Plus I'm tired, just boom a little and move on so I can go back to sleep😅
