Oh and hot off the press…the error she just blasted me/my team for wasn’t even an error it was a misunderstanding of the information she was reading…so despite throwing me/the team under the bus during a meeting, I only get a solo teams message, “oops, my bad”

I have a coworker who makes it her business to find everything wrong with everyone’s work & decides to publicly blurt out errors inappropriately in meetings.

But let you find errors in her work & you pull her aside privately like an adult & she will argue you down like you are attacking her.

My uncle abruptly texted me yesterday and asked me to call him right away which scared me to death because my other uncle just unexpectedly passed away two months ago and I was expecting him to tell me someone else died.

Nope, just wanted to invite us to Thanksgiving.

Within the span of like five minutes three of my coworkers have dropped off “just because” gifts for me. Is it my birthday today?

Furthermore, the argument of you being overloaded with work is tired. All of us are and if I make it a point to not intentionally dump things in other’s laps that fall in the scope of my own work responsibilities, I expect the same respect.

A work pet peeve:

Forwarding an email within your defined job function and asking me to respond to it, particularly when you are not my manager bc you feel that it is beneath you.

The time it took you to forward the message & ask me to respond could have been spent just responding to the message.

Took a sick day today and laid down around 10:30…woke up at 3. Just hours GONE.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m inching closer towards 40 or because the world has just become ridiculous, but at the end of the week I am just exhausted 😞

I have worked in this field for about 15 years so now and I’ll say this…
