I was skeptical about Donkey Kong Bananza when it was announced at the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal. Came off to me as a fancy destruction tech demo.

But after that Direct, I’m sold. Looks like it’s going be a ton of fun with plenty to do. And not a long wait either!

Went to see 28 Years Later in theatres, and it is likely to be our quickest turnaround on Zombies Ate My Podcast for release to discussion. While we didn’t have to wait exactly 28 years, it’s an excellent follow-up to a 22-year-old movie!

Fun note, we had to boot up Smite 1 to properly connect to Smite 2 for rewards and to bring over the gems we spent over the years. It’s at that moment you realize how big an upgrade Smite 2 is, both good (look and feel) and bad (monetization hell).

TGI Game Night made its return last night after a long hiatus, and of course we played some Smite. Smite 2 specifically, which feels like a remake of the original. Blast from the past! Thanks to all the patrons that joined us in game and in Discord.

Was in the exact same boat. Wasn’t too sure about it with what little was shown initially. But that Direct sold me. Now it’s just a matter of waiting for that Metroid Prime 4 release date.
