Apart from the Art Deco front and some Christmas decorations, typical village / small town French café. It even has the obligate (presumably greenish) fluorescent tube on the ceiling and curtains to hide customers. Taken December 1990 it is now a real estate agency, as so often happens – but they kept the frontage! Digitally toned black and white film photograph.

A great blue heron fishes in Sandpiper Pond at St. Vrain State Park outside Longmont, Colorado. In this vertical color photograph the heron fills most of the frame with its tail end cropped out of the frame on the right side. The heron is stealthily walking through the water getting into a better position to fish. Its left leg is bent at its joint and its left claw is slowly entering the water.
