I was up for a job, then Covid furloughed it. A year later, an opportunity presented itself and the company that hired me finalized my clearance, then upgraded me. I worked for them for 4 years, then got another DoD job.

So you never know.

Hell, I did the same thing.

Graduated with a degree that was useless and cost me several thousands of dollars in debt. I took night courses and went back to school for IT, got certified, and got on the career path that I'm at now.
