An empathetic misanthrope, super-villainous transsexual woman and philosophy graduate. Scot and as queer as a clockwork orange. (She/Her) 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️ ⚢, no matter what the Supreme Court says.

Same with "you don't have to support the war, but you GOTTA support the troops!"
No we don't actually. I shun soldiers as a point of principle.
Writing "critics say" is a choice; try "advocates report" instead.

"Glasshole" is correct.
Anyone wearing these should be made to feel immediately completely unwelcome in any public space they enter.
They're invasive weirdos who have decided to make their very existence in that space a privacy threat to everyone else in it.

I've called it the "Cass Woozle". It is a fair example of using the woozle effect to give credence to a malicious end. It exists solely to be cited, with the appearance of academic credibility, to further a trans elimination agenda.

The woozle is the most important fallacy to keep in mind, yet relatively few theorists pay much attention to it.
Even scholarship of epistemic injustice doesn't really talk about woozles, even though they are one of the primary vectors of epistemic injustice. Particularly testimonial injustice.
Interfered with transition for a few years. And even when they couldn't tantrum or silent treatment out of that, they still can't call me by my name.
They genuinely wonder why I don't contact them more often.
Alright, tomorrow I have to have yet another blood test for hormone levels.
I swear to Christ if they force me to reduce my HRT dose - which took years to get right - just to have access to a surgery THAT IS MY RIGHT TO ACCESS, I am going flip tables.
I'd be performing cartwheels for the rest of the day were I able to.

New Jersey lawmakers have written a bill to rein in ICE. And the acronym is absolutely fantastic.
The legislation (2026 NJ A4446) is called the Fight Unlawful Conduct and Keep Individuals and Communities Empowered act.
Or the FUCK ICE act for short.

It's instead held in place by a museum curator. Descendants can get only so close to their heritage in a place controlled by preservation.

Or that the current King is the one who advised on the settlement to begin with, after his brother swore that he would stand up to the allegations against him in court?
Or how about the gag clause that meant that Virginia wasn't allowed to say anything more until after the Jubilee was finished?
I am finding the deference still given to the Queen over the news of Andrew Windsor's arrest quite revolting.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social on @lbc.co.uk this morning said he was glad she wasn't alive to see this.
Do we all ignore that she helped her favourite son pay the settlement to Virgnia Giuffre?
Praise be, she fabulously returneth!

A death should be registered under the name by which someone used or was known by at the time of their death.
Have you a deed poll or a Gender Recognition Certificate? Either should be sufficient to establish this. Making it clear in your will would also help, I think.
