These data centers are bad news on so many fronts. The economic and environmental impacts, the privacy violations to citizens. And for what? To make rich people even richer on the backs of those suffering from these data centers impacts.
The article should be a wakeup call to municipalities around the US. 1st, this emergency isn’t so sudden at all. There have been discussions for a decade. 2nd, instead of working to fix the impending disaster, the local community leaders kept adding huge industrial users. Sounds like data centers!
