A really interesting observational study which suggests that more positive attitudes to ageing may build resilience and improve recovery after a fall. Importantly we need to shift our focus from the physical only to the psychological state and wellbeing of a person too.

Do you use lay consent forms?

Yes I had lay P.I.S which were useful for many of the participants, even those who had English as their mother tongue. The problem comes with the consent form which is so formally worded and inaccessible. With words like legal rights, regulatory authorities.
