Oops! Apologies, that folder was private, public now.
You can cut and paste the regex into skyfeed and /not/ use a list, which will be the old feed.
It's both a list and keywords, so posts from @julietshen.bsky.social about ducks won't show up, but a post about harassing ducks will.
The feed was drowning in Bsky T&S meta, so limiting it to curated accounts became necessary.
Here's the keywords, suggestions welcome! github.com/iftas-org/re...
My latest Bluesky feed is now live: on all things #Fediforumโฆ A great event looking at latest on both ATproto & ActivityPub innovations to the Open Social Web.

@iftas
We've posted an overview and recommendations for decentralised providers with regard to the passing of the "Take It Down Act" which mandates removal of non-consensual intimate images and videos, and deepfakes, within 48 hours of reporting.

I've updated the feed to use a curated list of accounts, starting with @davidsullivan.bsky.social T&S starter pack and I'm adding more as I go, happy to get suggestions on who to add.
16.05.2025 17:03 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 1The Trust and Safety Feed (bsky.app/profile/did:...) is now restricted to matching content from a curated list, which in turn was seeded by the starter pack from @davidsullivan.bsky.social but is being added to over time. Please DM me with suggestions for people to add.

The latest FOSS Academic post is "Standards War?":
https://fossacademic.tech/2025/03/05/standardsWar.html
In which I contrast the fact that @iftas is shutting down some of its services against the advent of "Free Our Feeds," and I speculate that maybe we're seeing an ATProto/ActivityPub [โฆ]

#ThrowbackThursday
Mastodon posts reading "Really enthusiastic about @iftas.org and the potential to share knowledge, support, etc between activitypub and atproto worlds on all this.โ โTilley. I think our best collaborative effort so far is all the tooling and infrastructure IFTAS is bringing to the table. They're sponsoring the development of some really powerful stuff that could help a lot of communities, and providing severely needed resources, too.โ โGreg Scallan. Even on Flipboard, we regularly disable or otherwise limit hundreds of accounts created daily which have bad actors behind them. A major goal we have to to never allow these accounts to federate to begin with, but it is a cat and mouse game, so IFTAS and AP node admins working together will be crucial to a safe social environment.โ โTim Chambers. I am excited to be helping the @iftas efforts & as an admin at Indieweb. Social, our server is now an early beta tester of their new FediCheck system. Am very impressed and giving notes to the dev team. It's a crucial tool to help the #Fediverse up its game in terms of content moderation & distributed trust & safety. Am excited to implement it here. If any users here see any issues DM me. But so far, so good.โ โJohannes Ernst. If you are wondering what legal obligations you might have as an operator of a #Fediverse server that might be used by Europeans, IFTAS produced this handy guide.โ
3. Connect us with potential funders: If you know of philanthropic organisations or individuals interested in trust and safety for decentralised communities, we would love to connect. If you know anyone going to #RightsCon who might be a good connection, tell us.
10.02.2025 15:01 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 02. Pledge a donation: If you or your organisation can contribute financially, let us know. We're not accepting donations now, but we'll take your pledges. We need pledges by Feb 28 so we can make an informed decision about our next steps.

Thank you for the support around our recent announcement about our lack of funding.
Hereโs some more detail on what our funding shortfall means for IFTAS and the communities we support.
If we cannot secure immediate funding, IFTAS will need to:

Mastodon posts which say things like โ#IFTAS is building so many things that are incredibly important: moderator stipend funds, a portal for learning from other moderators & exchanging notes & building fellowship, CSAM detection tools, labelers, protection for at-risk moderators.โ โOne of the sessions at #FediForum focused on CSAM, quite a tough topic. If you host your own instance, even if it's just YOU on that instance, you need to consider taking action to protect yourself and your moderation team. Kudos to @thisismissem and @iftas for exploring new ways to manage this without scarring moderators for life.โ โIFTAS is amazing, and so is all the work @thisismissem is doing! IFTAS is the perfect org that could eventually maintain FediDB, its growing increasingly important to the fedi and an org like that could manage it long term better than I might be able to.โ โIt's been really interesting to see the team at @iftas discussing their vision for connecting moderators across the Fediverse. At Newsmast we've been reaching out to other moderators and admins to help us with content we may not have the context or language skills to understand. It'll be great to have a simple way for moderators to communicate and learn from one another!โ โI'm excited about IFTAS Connect. It's a great platform, and considerable thought seems to have gone into making it safe and productive.โ โThank you to IFTAS for their important work to make the fediverse more inclusive, safe, and welcoming.โ
How you can help IFTAS:
1. Spread the word:ย Raising awareness about our funding challenges can help us connect with potential funders, partners, and supporters.
Share ourย fundraising overview (about.iftas.org/wp-content/u...).
We know most funders cannot move quickly, so we're accepting pledges.
However, despite our best efforts to secure sustainable #funding, IFTAS is now facing a critical financial shortfall.
Without immediate support, we will be forced to severely curtail our activities in the next 60 days. With our current commitments we will be unable to pay our bills in April.
2/14
Over the past 2 years we've provided crucial support to independent, decentralised social media mods, admins, & community managers. Our mission has been to equip these individuals with the knowledge, resources, & services needed to create & nurture safe, civil, & inclusive online spaces.
