And since I don’t want folks to think that the only thing notable about Albert Dorne was his resemblance to Abe Vigoda, here’s a reminder that he was, in fact, a world-class badass draftsman.

Any time I ever feel insecure about myself, my personage, my body, my contribution to the world, which, you know, is not infrequently!, I comfort myself by thinking about how the world's richest man would give his actual human dick to have made 1/100 of the people I have feel positive towards him

The mini zipcraft were really fun! Really so happy with how this entire model came out, and that I was able to make a model celebrating one of my fav shows!

This model was made for a commission, they were kind enough to let me post them on my site as well!

I'm not sure if it's as much what you have read and heard and discovered through John's work, but from my own perspective, your work is work which I have read and digested and discussed and internalised, and it's as much something which provides nutrients to my brain and heart as John's work is

I'm now looking for for help tracking down any of the following (in decreasing order of likeliness!):

1) the name of the artist
2) a copy of the poster
3) the holiest of holies - the original painting itself!

Can anyone help me in my Great "Great Ghost Hunt" Hunt? Reposts appreciated! (3/3)

I have been looking for a copy of the poster for YEARS. I couldn't remember the name, but earlier this year I found some pics that someone had uploaded to the Internet Archive (that have now apparently disappeared - spooky!) that confirmed its existence and its name. (2/X)

Looking for some help locating a holy grail. In 1989, The Sunday Times ran a promotion called "The Great Ghost Hunt". An illustrated poster of famous British hauntings came free with the paper, and in the following weeks they published quiz questions relating to the various spooky happenings. (1/X)

The debate around whether Star Wars should be preserved in amber by Disney or tinkered with by Lucas, released in a version which goes against Lucas's wishes or hidden away from future generations, misses the most inviting possibility: that we sieze the chance to destroy Star Wars once and for all
