This project took me 2 months of lunch breaks to complete this piece. I wanted to organically mimic the Palestine flag, using symbolic plants of the region -- poppies and prickly pear cacti.

My local museum has a stellar dinosaur collection. So I took my sketchbook with me today (March 2024), found a cool ceratops skull, and sat among the fossils while I drew for 2.5 hours. It was a very fun and chill experience - will def have to do this more often.

I've been designing some dragonborn NPCs for my sandbox Dnd campaign and I have been unhappy with how they looked. I couldn't figure out what was wrong so I set it aside for a few days. When I came back to it last night, the culprit became obvious. . . I was drawing the noses too long!
