The entire country needs to be shut down until ICE is off of our streets. Employers must support employees protesting the terror that is being directed at every one of us. Neighbors must support each other. ICE is targeting citizens. They are traumatizing children. They are killing the frail.

Republicans are in charge of all three branches of our government. They have shut down the government to punish The People for resisting authoritarianism.
The government needs to stay shut until ICE is defunded. We can’t be forced to pay for the atrocities of ICE on our streets.

Furloughed Department of Education workers’ out-of-office emails were changed to blame Democrats for the shutdown without their permission.

Why is Trump resorting to such desperate, and likely illegal, tactics?

Because he knows that he’s the one to blame for this shutdown.
