It's a shame I didn't get to work on it more today, because it would have been really cool to draw myself as the Gen 10 protag now that I've had top surgery. Oh well, I went and watched Umamusume in the cinema with wife and that was worth missing my self-imposed deadline.
I wanted to draw a representation of me growing up, with the games I played and the starters I chose in order (plus GoD bc that game was... impactful to my brain development). Ruby was my first game. I already loved Pokémon from the TV show and cards, but this cemented it as a core part of me.
I didn't get to finish my Pokémon Day art in time (Pombon happened... I got distracted) but here's a WIP.
