Remembering my mother on Mothers Day. I'm not sure when my parents started going to Cape Cod but it became a memoriable part of my childhood and early adult life. I'm certain this photo was made a decade before I was running around the beach! Happy Mothers Day to all you moms out there.

Clokakilty is small and not super exciting but we met a couple from the North and ended up traveling together for 3 days. Very special memories. I think Michael Collins was bore there because I was well regarded in various places my name was used. Ha. Have a great trip. I'm following along :)

The administration is attacking the rule of law, our allies, museums, healthcare, education and free speech. We are living in a dangerous time. This is similar to what Hitler did in Germany. Now we are doing the same.
At the time I thought, thank God we live in a Democracy. Then the President of the United States made 3 planes full of people “disappear” with no due process and students were arrested and detained for protesting or authoring Opinions. Again, no due process.
Simply put, Pinochet was cruel and was responsible for abducting, torturing and murdering Chileans that protested his authority. This photo shows a wall of the “Disappeared”- some of thousands of people who were never seen again. Some were thrown from an airplane over the ocean. (continued)
We visited Santiago Chile while Caroline was studying there for a semester. We toured the Memory and Human Rights Museum and it was extremely powerful. Between 1973 and 1990, my school aged years + college, Chile was a Dictatorship at the hands of General Pinochet. (continued in comments)
