This is such a good story. The voice acting is very believable.

One of my favorite mystery writers has a new book and it has so many issues that should have been caught before printing. I'm literally flipping back, thinking I missed that detail but I didn't. It's so sad because the author is very good.

I can understand a company wanting to use ID*me for a house a car. Big things. But I'm going to give my state teacher number for a small discount on shoes?! I have to think about that.

I haven't been to ALA, but I have been to my state conference. Other than standing in lines for the book giveaways, there are the paid award luncheons where the attendees receive copies of novels.
To transport--you can make trips to your car or hotel; you can do item check. Some mail them home.

USDA cancels $1B in local food purchasing for schools, food banks States have been notified that they will not receive 2025 funding for schools to buy food from nearby farms.

The Agriculture Department has axed two programs that gave schools and food banks money to buy food from nearby farms and ranchers. Roughly $660 million that schools and child care facilities were counting on to purchase food has been canceled.

This will hurt both kids and small, local farmers.

Isn't it just ground beef, elbow macaroni and a sauce? We ate a dish like that growing up. It wasn't boxed, just a no-recipe meal that didn't take forever.
