Going back from Italy, where the wealthiest spent money on recommissioning fountains because they weren’t artistically dramatic enough and art is still appreciated, to US, where the wealthiest can’t differ Odyssey and Iliad and tell artists to die out, is daunting. Idk how to live now.

And to note: vision is not something that people are born with. It’s acquired through life experiences, hard work and endless tries and mistakes.

Frankenstein by GDT is insanely beautiful, sincere and masterful tale. We are so so privileged to have artists with vision and we SHOULD as society nurture them and appreciate what they do. Beautiful things are created by artists. If you want more beautiful things - support artists.

If my professor at the uni told me that AI is transformational, I definitely wouldn’t look closely at his teaching/grading approaches and never would suspect him in using ai for his educational materials and publications. And uni that employs him? Its rep wouldn’t suffer at all. Just saying…
