Imo, it’s not only young people. Many with established careers could do so much more - they are the ones who have (or at least had) power to bargain.

Today’s daily #painting is carnations.
All colors are mixed from hansa yellow, cad red and ultramarine blue. More or less happy with shadows.
Gouache nostalgia builds up.

This is 100% correct. I want to pour some water on the right one.
To add, left pic is not just of a fit and attractive physique, it’s also of a superhero who can fuck enemy up cause he has unbreakable bones and can heal immediately. Wolverine never ever needed liver king muscles to protect himself

Ok, I know it’s nothing to be proud of, but I finally got to Hades in, well, Hades on my 54th try 😅
To be fair, I’m playing this game while I’m working out on a walking pad. So, small victories 🎉

Baffled to see that some working in entertainment choose to ignore the effects of genAI on the industry. “Job loss is everywhere, not just in animation” - is an argument that comes from lack of empathy and privilege of having a job (for now) and is exactly an attitude that led us to where we are.

Every time I hear a rant about hard work I roll my eyes. So many factors are at play and luck is practically half of it.

Kinda surprised that that people seriously think that midterms voting will help. Imo, US already passed the point of no return. I’m a pessimist though, would be happy to be wrong about it.

Update: all cats have been spayed and released (at least those who were captured by us). I’ve seen Silvi yesterday, she seems ok and rightfully pissed. Look at her side eye:

The mechanic who helps us with trapping was able to find home for 1 of Siamese kittens. He’s gonna be picked up soon. I do hope they will take both kittens, hehe🤞 Then we will be able to safely release Silvi and her neutered son back 😅

Ok, an update. The pregnant cat ( Goldie, she has yellow eyes) got spayed and released. The mom of three kittens (Silvi, with white eyes) and one kitten are spayed and last two kittens (Siamese, one with grey eyes and one with blue ones) got caught this morning! Pic of Silvi here:

There are two more beautiful kittens out there and they are immediately trap smart after what happened to their mom and brother.

Did not do daily painting this week, because I’ve tried to trap feral kittens from our cat commune but instead trapped 1 kitten, their mom and another pregnant cat. Man, it’s wild there, I’m incredibly lucky that we spayed them so fast 🤯

I remember this b!tch. It was she, who said: “Some creative jobs maybe will go away, but maybe they shouldn’t have been there in the first place”.
Truly hope she’ll end up being second after Elisabeth Holmes .
