Chocolate NiGHTS quickie as I try to get back into things.

Water is always very tricky due to how light interacts with it. Maybe more waves/ripples, heavier distortion? Hard to say, but I can kind of feel/see it. And yeah, can relate to that self criticism! But always nice to see your work even if it's not perfect! Should follow that advice myself! xd

Wondrous work as usual! The distortion in the globs of water is real fun along with the details of the background like the trail when NiGHTS its jumping from one to one and the ripples!

Well I semi have already! There's still 1 more group of pics I could dig up and re-post, but these are from 2022 mirrored on my tumblr dumblr from 2 years back. But maybe drawing the beta design cape with it's glitz and glamour would be fun. Just gotta hope the heat won't kill my motivation!

Cool great work! Their cape is a lot more sparkly in their beta design. But people don't draw Jackle enough in "cool" poses, well most Nightmaren honestly, but that designs pose has been in my mind for a while which showcases that posing and perspective help really sell a mood.

I was thinking about muscle today. Haven't really drawn that much, so here's quick sketches. Could also draw more xddd

The other characters, like the other nightmaren? Yeah that's gonna take some more brain processing to attach mons to some of them. Like there's a couple that are really easy, queen Bella, Chamelan, Gulpo. But otherwise, things start being more abstract due to their shapes and whatnot

Bimbo/himbo Reala. Hard outside, soft inside. quickie. Putting this here as well as I liked how the shapes came out.

They have such a nice shape to them with their head and skinny figure. And with them being able to be squashed and stretched it gives even more room to just play with them.
Truly wondrous characters which basically were designed for that, real whimsical thinking of SonicTeam.

Trying out different styles, putting them in different clothing, different situations all are super fun to do with these jester dolls. Always fun to see whatever people do with them and how they see them.
And I do feel that creative rut, starting anything is always the challenge!

But I do try to give both of them long lashes as I have in my mind a model on how I want them to present "androgynously." It's; "F,M,N," fancy face, muscles, and neutral/noodle legs
