I hope so too. I’m in Michigan and thankful we never have to deal with these.

This says that 14 storms have started in the Bay of Campeche and tracked west to FLA, though I’ve found news station articles saying it’s only happened 4 times. So idk. I had no idea they moved like either.

I'm not sure if Hurricane Milton counts as a crossover hurricane, but I'm fascinated that these happen I honestly didn't know it was a thing. Milton started as remnants of Tropical Depression Eleven-E before crossing over Mexico.

It's also terrifying how strong it has gotten over the last few days.
