The blame for Bluepoint’s closure lies at the feet of the studio’s and Sony’s leadership who failed to come up with a good project for them.
Their technical abilities are clearly peerless but when you’re pitching to make Shadow of the Colossus for a third time then Sony would have had to step in.
My stance has always been the Demons Souls remake was great aside from a couple choices and that a Bloodborne remake would be a waste of time as all it needs is a 4K120 patch.
One cool thing about unequivocally hating AI is that you will be proven right over and over again every single day

Demons Souls, GT7, Returnal and Astro Bot still feel definitive. Nearly instant loading, rock solid performance and great image quality on a 4K display, immersive haptics and 3D audio. I feel things have only gone backwards with the rise of low resolution, noisy and choppy UE5 games.

I sometimes rewatch this, recorded on my iPhone XS. Phones have definitely been good enough to record stuff like this for yourself. That was definitely not the case 15 years ago and people are still stuck on that.
