I used to do this when I was starting out! It’s not too bad of a system to work with esp for preorders but it def gets a little difficult/time consuming to make mailing lists and what not since it’s not like one centralized system where you can automatically reach out to everyone who filled it out 😵‍💫

For reference, when I sell at cons I’m always selling under my shop name so a lot of the time I meet artists they get to know me as either my store name or my irl name
So when I follow them online they don’t realize I am who I am 😔💔

Sometimes it’s a blessing and a curse to have an online pen name and then an official store name bc on one hand I don’t have to go through the painful reality of IRL’s knowing my online sona/name but on the other my artist moots don’t realize I am who I am 😭💔🧎‍♀️
