If I can use identical config files across my Mint, MacOS, and Google Chromebooks, I may be eating those words, but I suspect it won't be as magical as that. I can imagine a use case for Docker instances, but not for dot files.

Maybe things will change when I set up another computer but so far, I'm not sure I get the value add of Stow (www.gnu.org/software/stow/). I mean I'm a *little* happy not to have a .jj dir in my `~/.config` dir, but is that worth the extra setup needed?

Genie: I can make "The Year of the Linux Desktop" finally happen. It will be glorious. Everyone will switch. 
Linux Desktop User: Will they still ask me to fix their printer issues, or will that part be automated too? And which distro becomes the default? Because if it's Ubuntu with Snaps pre installed...

Nushell (www.nushell.sh) maybe replacing postman as my API development tool of choice. Not replacing fish as my primary shell but very useful for this use case.

I got wezTerm (wezterm.org) working on my Pixelbook Go, but only because I copied someone's config. So now I need to analyze why that worked. So far I haven't been able to get it to work out of the box with any of my Chromebooks but now I believe I might be able to.

@gitlab.com it seems like if you are doing a gitlab trail subscription and have a group you want to transfer ownership of to a client (at least where they can now change the parent group) you can't do it while your trail is ongoing.

@rescuetime.bsky.social it seems like rescueTime will no longer worth with my chromebook. it says because there aren't any privacy policies. Where *are* rescueTime's privacy policies and is there an effort to fix this?

Someone asked me what is the distinction between a Coder and a Caffeine driven Vampire? I'm still pondering that one.
