The New York Dolls magnificent debut album was produced by rock and roll renaissance guy Todd Rundgren who a few years later produced the multi selling ‘Bat Out of Hell’. The Dolls album sold considerably less than Meatloaf’s but is vastly superior imo.
One of the most pivotal bands of my musically formative years and the first ever greatest hits album I ever bought. Still sounds futuristic all these years later.
