Don’t quite get what you mean but you’re at a massive advantage to us in all sorts of areas so I’m not expecting us to compete every single day. Spurs should win more from a position of strength, that’s my point.

Still, we’ve reached a final and in a good position for another, played in CL (should have qualified for the 2nd phase), generally play good football, building the academy, plans for new training ground and stadium, growing revenue, trying to outsmart PSR. So not all bad.

Not as close as I’d have hoped to be honest. But if you compare our takeover to City’s, they spent freely from day 1 (£1.5bn in first 10 years), started from a higher base (10th in 2008/09), could attract players easier to big city and had wider net for their academy. Still took 4 yrs to win the PL.

Come off it, we were bottom of the league when we signed Guimaraes after decades of mismanagement.
