I consider it a good "it's fine" movie. The leads are likable, the pacing is fair, and the humor is okay. The VFX aren't particularly great sometimes, but they're serviceable. Reminds me of 2000s comedy horror.

We tried to rewatch it a few years ago, and it was too difficult.

A good "it's fine" movie. Could be rewatchable.

Kerry and Campbell are very chamring here.

This also channeled the mood and speed of 2000s comedy horror pretty well.

Fun soundtrack.

Do I wish it used more practical FX? Of course, but it is what it is, and it ain't bad because of some VFX.

As far as FEAR STREET spin-offs go, the CHEERLEADERS saga gets all the love (and deservingly so), but I also enjoy the gruesomeness of FEAR PARK.
