she's traced in the past too but she was a minor when that happened and i knew she was weird w copying people ꒰ probably due to lack of identity ꒱ but i never really assumed she'd go as far as to steal my art bc beforehand it was just small stuff like the same name, icons, etc.

i think another thing that sucks is she definitely could draw on her own if she wanted to :( idk why she chose to trace my work & refuses to tell me bc "she doesn't owe me an explanation"

thank you so much :< it'll be okay, at first i was going to let this scare me out of making more art but i noticed that's silly and i just will rebrand and start using watermarks. i honestly thought my art was bad and no one would do this.. i guess it's not as bad as i thought!

dw friends i am getting into watermarks now i genuinely thought this wouldn't happen to an artist with such a small following. i was wrong! always always watermark/sign your art!!!
