Onion graphic artist: You want to animate what again?
BUT keep in mind that your blog post makes perfect sense when dealing with push broom cameras! As you state, too many degrees of freedom when dealing with only two images. I almost exclusively work with framing or push-frame cameras.
typical values I use for camera_angles_sigma for MRO or CaSSIS are on the order of 0.06° (~1 mrad) and ~1000–3000 for spacecraft_position_sigma.
I generally don't use spsolve with CaSSIS because the time between filters isn't really enough to solve for spacecraft position.
using more images you can probably either increase camera_angles_sigma, or start to incorporate solving for position. In which case you can also use SPACECRAFT_POSITION_SIGMA, where you can give an estimate of how far jigsaw can move the spacecraft.
To limit network drift, I use camera_angles_sigma to constrain the solution. We use this with the CaSSIS geometry pipeline.
Also helps when using twist.
How? Just HOW‽ Look, I'm just a humble planetary scientist but even I know that Iran's biggest source of leverage on the US is its ability to disrupt traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
Honestly, this is pretty low on the list of "what is wrong with this country?"
I know someone who was planning on flying out today for this one... I can hear the "damnit!" from 1 state over.
It was 20 years ago today...
The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter arrived at Mars with the best camera ever sent to another planet: HiRISE! A massive thanks to all our team @uarizona.bsky.social , JPL and @baesystems.com who keep this adventure going on strong. 😃 #uahirise
Wait, isn’t this bit from Snatch?
fun fact: they picked Kristi Noem
he does realize that the stock market is open, like, every business day, right?
And it was the first possibility.
If the Cardinals, Jets, and Browns went ahead without a QB, would anyone notice?
I should also say that he has a long history of saying one thing to calm the markets and then continuing to do the thing they were upset about. He also has a history of TACO'ing. So, we'll see if he ACTUALLY calls a halt to military operations.
So basically he saw the stock market and oil prices and decided "yep, we're done here, mission accomplished". I mean... cool, I guess.
We went to war to help Iran get rid of its gerontocracy...
Finally! All those hours of learning Middle Egyptian and Hittite will pay off!
Now we’re watching Lost World. 🫡 to Peter Stormare for exactly 30 years of being the “friend in the wood chipper”
Thanks to @planetdr.bsky.social we watched OG Jurassic Park tonight.
Now hear me out: a D&D campaign but everyone is a dinosaur in Jurassic Park. I would be a dilophosaurus sorcerer.
Truth is the first casualty of any war. I’m even having to double check myself when I see things here on BlueSky.
Don’t forget Jeddito, an enclave of Diné Binéyah inside the Hopi Nation inside the Navajo Nation inside of Arizona.
Don’t forget to set you clocks forward or back, or however you people do that in the spring. Here in Arizona:
The Australian GP is becoming a race of attrition. Whoever is still racing by lap 58 wins.

Otherwise known as "That Time Napoleon III tried to set up a Mexican puppet state while the US's back was turned and the Mexican people said 'No'"
I "celebrate" his name every Cinco de Mayo.
Fits with their rejection of the Powell Doctrine. Break Iran and let the Iranians sort out the mess we made.
Okay, let me attempt to translate Stupid to English here. Are they saying that they don't want to change Iran's system of government (so not regime change), they just wanted Ali Khamenei dead?
